MedlinkHealthRN manages all activities related to the clinician’s work authorization at no cost to you. As a client, you can interview and select your healthcare professional while they are still overseas. Once the healthcare professional arrives, the MedlinkHealthRN team provides ongoing support throughout the assignment to ensure success for everyone involved.

Our healthcare professionals average TWO to TEN years of experience and provide long-term staff stability, with 90% of our nurses transitioning to your staff after their initial assignment. We manage everything from sponsoring our healthcare professionals to relocating them to your facility and community. All our registered nurses must pass a rigorous visa screening process, an English fluency exam, and have their foreign education evaluated for equivalency to a U.S. education. They also must apply for and pass the U.S. nursing licensing examination (NCLEX-RN) and have their foreign nursing licenses verified to ensure they are authentic and unencumbered.

Our registered nurses participate in a pre-arrival virtual program for up to eight months before coming to the United States. Upon arrival at our facility, they enter a five-week comprehensive Clinical and Cultural Transitions Program, which includes shadowing at a Level II trauma centre.
Our Employee Support Services (ESS) and Clinical teams provide our healthcare professionals with support throughout their assignment through consistent phone call check-ins and assessments.
Yes, all our healthcare professionals are required to pass high-level English proficiency exams as mandated by immigration law. These exams include the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
